Costa Maya is the best area of the Mayan culture where you can visit a complete city. Santo Tomas de Castilla is a port where eco tours are a main attraction. See tropical birds, especially species of Toucans and also watch and hear the Howler Monkeys. A visit to the Chiquita Banana Plantation is also possible. The next two ports, Belize City and Cozumel offer some of the best snorkeling and scuba opportunities in all the Caribbean. Some may want to try the popular Atlantis Submarine tour in Cozumel.
